Meet David Bolt MLA

David Bolt MLA has deep roots in the Pinjarra community, where he and his wife, Bridget, raised their family on farmland where his parents built their home in the early 1960s. He continues to value the country lifestyle and the community of the region.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and built his professional career managing the Australian and New Zealand operations of a leading multinational technology company. He later founded his own small business specialising in software development and IT services.

Since 2017, David has served as President of the Shire of Murray, where he has been involved in initiatives that have achieved state and national recognition across economic development, environmental credentials, and the growth of the local tourism economy.

David is passionate about advocating for real action on the cost of living, better access to local health services, increased police resources, and greater support for local businesses and entrepreneurs to create jobs.
