The 500 Club is delighted to invite you to join us for our upcoming Meet the Shadow Minister Breakfast featuring the Hon Tjorn Sibma MLC, at Julio’s Italian Restaurant on Wednesday 23 July from 7:00am for an engaging and insightful morning alongside fellow members, business leaders and guests.
Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council and Shadow Minister for Finance; Training and Workforce Development; and Major Infrastructure. This event will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear directly from one of Western Australia’s leading political voices, with insights into the State’s economic outlook, workforce development, infrastructure priorities and broader policy direction.
Hon Tjorn Simba was elected to the WA Legislative Council in 2017 and is currently serving his third term. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held several significant shadow portfolios including Planning, Environment, Justice and Defence Industry.
Prior to entering Parliament, Tjorn worked within the Department of Defence, where he assisted East Timor’s transition to independence and managed a range of security programs. He has also held senior government advisory roles and management positions across the mining, property and education sectors. Tjorn holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy and an MBA from The University of Western Australia.
